Network Doctor definition

Network Doctor means the medical practitioner named in the Medical Network Directory, who is appointed by the Service Provider and solely responsible for any services, treatment, advice, prescription, medication, products and/or good supplied or provided to the Insured Person.
Network Doctor means any Registered Medical Practitioner whose name is specified in the list provided by the Network Service Provider. Page 2/6
Network Doctor means the Chinese Medicine Practitioner(s) and Physician(s) in Hong Kong whose name is specified in the list provided by our designated medical service provider(s), subject to change from time to time.

Examples of Network Doctor in a sentence

  • Insureds should go to a Network Doctor or hospital for treatment, if possible.

  • VSP will pay the VSP Network Doctor directly according to its agreement with the doctor.

  • Covered Person contacts a VSP Network Doctor and makes an appointment.

  • If Covered Person is eligible for Plan Benefits, VSP will provide Benefit Authorization directly to the VSP Network Doctor.

  • When Covered Person wants to receive Plan Benefits, contact VSP or a VSP Network Doctor.

  • If Covered Person contacts the VSP Network Doctor directly, Covered Person must identify him or herself as a VSP member so the doctor can obtain Benefit Authorization from VSP.

  • Make an appointment with a Network Doctor and the doctor will confirm your eligibility prior to your appointment.

  • Your Network Doctor will perform the covered services and provide the covered eyewear at no cost.

  • In emergency conditions, when immediate vision care of a medical nature, such as for bodily trauma or disease is necessary, Covered Person can obtain covered services by contacting a VSP Network Doctor (or Non-VSP Provider if the attached Schedule of Benefits and, if applicable, Additional Benefits Rider, indicates Covered Person's Plan includes such coverage).

  • Benefit Authorization must be obtained prior to a Covered Person obtaining Plan Benefits from a VSP Network Doctor.

Related to Network Doctor

  • Network pharmacy means any pharmacy that has an agreement to accept our pharmacy allowance for prescription drugs and diabetic equipment/supplies covered under this agreement. All other pharmacies are NON-NETWORK PHARMACIES. The one exception and for the purpose of specialty Prescription Drugs, only specialty pharmacies that have an agreement to accept our pharmacy allowance are network pharmacies and all others pharmacies are non-network pharmacies.

  • Network User means each natural or legal person having concluded a Standard Transmission Agreement with the TSO for Transmission Services in the Transmission Grid.

  • Network Operator means the network operator who operates the wireless network of networks to which the SIM Cards are connected.

  • Network plan means a policy of group health insurance offered by an insurer under which the financing and delivery of medical care, including items and services paid for as medical care, are provided, in whole or in part, through a defined set of providers under contract with the insurer. The term does not include an arrangement for the financing of premiums.

  • Network Data Mover (NDM) or “Connect Direct” means the industry standard protocol for transferring information electrically.

Where an Eligible Customer has elected not to designate a particular load at discrete points of delivery as Network Load, the Eligible Customer is responsible for making separate arrangements under Tariff, Part II for any Point-To-Point Transmission Service that may be necessary for such non-designated load.

  • Network Customer means an entity receiving transmission service pursuant to the terms of the Transmission Provider’s Network Integration Transmission Service under Tariff, Part III. Network External Designated Transmission Service:
