Net Transaction Amount definition
Net Transaction Amount means the Total Transaction Amount less (i) the Working Capital Adjustment and (ii) the Excess Third Party Expenses.

The Transaction Fees are calculated based on the Total Net Transaction Amount for a month multiplied by the appropriate Fixed Effective Rate by card type as indicated on Schedule A or if amended the Merchant Services Monthly Statement, or by an Alternative Calculation Method as indicated on Schedule A.
The Surcharge will be the lessor of; the difference between the current months’ Effective Merchant Costs and the previous three (3) months average Effective Merchant Costs or the Total Net Transaction Amount multiplied by 50 basis points.
