National Environment Management Authority definition

National Environment Management Authority means the National Environment Management Authority established by section 4 of the National Environment Management Act (Cap153);
National Environment Management Authority or “NEMA” means the Recipient’s agency responsible for promoting sustainable environmental management, established and operating pursuant to the Environmental Management and Coordination Act , Act No. 8 of 1999 of the Laws of Kenya or its legal successor thereto.

  • Water Authority means the body corporate known as the Water Authority of Western Australia established by the Water Authority Xxx 0000;

  • Procurement Law means the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, the Concession Contracts Regulations 2016 (insofar as the same are applicable) together with any statutory modification or replacement regulations or Legislation on procurement by public bodies; Professional Team means (as applicable) the architect, civil & structural engineer, the mechanical & electrical engineer and any other consultant appointed by the Grant Recipient in connection with a Firm Scheme; Prohibited Act means:

  • waste management means the collection, transport, recovery and disposal of waste, including the supervision of such operations and the after-care of disposal sites, and including actions taken as a dealer or broker;

  • Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) means the United States Environmental Protection Agency.

  • Port Authority means the port authority to be created pursuant to subclause (1) of Clause 13;

  • Floodplain Management means the operation of an overall program of corrective and preventive measures for reducing flood damage, including but not limited to emergency preparedness plans, flood control works and floodplain management regulations.
