Named Fiduciary definition

Named Fiduciary means the Fiduciary or Fiduciaries named herein or in the Adoption Agreement who jointly or severally have the authority to control and manage the operation and administration of the Plan.
Named Fiduciary means the Plan Administrator which has the authority to control and manage the operation and administration of the Plan.
Named Fiduciary means only the following:

Examples of Named Fiduciary in a sentence

  • The Trustee may only invest Plan assets as directed by the Plan Administrator, the Employer, an Investment Manager or other Named Fiduciary or, to the extent authorized under the Plan, a Plan Participant.

  • The Trustee has discretion to invest Plan assets, unless specifically directed otherwise by the Plan Administrator, the Employer, an Investment Manager or other Named Fiduciary or, to the extent authorized under the Plan, a Plan Participant.

  • TASC is not the Plan Administrator, the Plan Sponsor, or a Named Fiduciary for any Subscription Services.

  • For the purpose of any Purchaser and/or Subscription Services subject to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), as amended, the terms Administrator (commonly referred to as the Plan Administrator), Plan Sponsor, Named Fiduciary and Plan Assets shall have the meaning given to such terms by ERISA.

  • General Motors Investment Management Corporation (GMIMCo) is the Named Fiduciary of this Plan for purposes of investment of Plan assets.


More Definitions of Named Fiduciary

Named Fiduciary means the individual(s) or entity or entities responsible for either administering benefit plans or the insurance company providing coverage.
Named Fiduciary means any Fiduciary who is named in this Plan, or who, pursuant to a procedure specified in the Plan, is identified as a Fiduciary to the Plan by the Company. Such Named Fiduciaries include, but are not limited to, the Trustee, the Plan Committee, and the Plan Administrator.
Named Fiduciary means Sponsor and the Plan Administrator. Each Named Fiduciary shall have only those particular powers, duties, responsibilities and obligations as are specifically given such Named Fiduciary under the Plan. Any Named Fiduciary, if so appointed, may perform in more than one fiduciary capacity.
Named Fiduciary means, with respect to the application of any provision of this Agreement to any Plan, the person or entity which is the relevant fiduciary under such Plan with respect to such matter (within the meaning of section 402(a) of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, as amended); and
Named Fiduciary means a person designated a fiduciary under this Plan.
Named Fiduciary means the appropriate party, parties or entities appointed or delegated such named fiduciary functions pursuant to Articles III and XIII.
