Mutual fund merger definition
Mutual fund merger means merger of two mutual funds or more into a new mutual fund established to purchase or accept the transfer of assets, rights and duties of former mutual funds as specified in the new fund scheme and the former mutual funds are dissolved;
Mutual fund merger means the merger of two mutual funds or more resulting in one mutual fund by establishing the new mutual fund so as to purchase or accept the transfer of assets, rights and duties of the former mutual funds and then dissolve the former mutual funds;
Mutual fund merger means, with respect to any Mutual Fund sponsored by the Company or any Controlled Affiliate, the acquisition by merger or otherwise of substantially all of the assets of such Mutual Fund by the applicable mutual fund sponsored by Buyer Parent or an Affiliate under its Control effected by means of a reorganization within the meaning of Section 368(a) of the Code.
