MultiCell Field definition

MultiCell Field means all uses and applications of the MultiCell Technologies and Improvements for (a) immortalization of mammalian cells, including immortalization in a targeted fashion (b) isolation of stem cells from mammalian livers, (c) transplantation of immortalized cells (including human hepatocytes) or stem cells for therapy and treatment of human and animal diseases, (d) creation of an engineered human liver cell line for the Sybiol™ BioArtificial Liver Assist Device or any other extracorporeal liver assist or other device, (e) utilization of immortalized mammalian cells for the production of therapeutic, diagnostic or research-related proteins, other cellular components or drug-like molecules, including small molecule chemical entities, or (f) the right to engineer, modify, derivatize, combine, develop or otherwise improve the Cell Lines, MFE, Permitted Improvements or other MultiCell Technologies. XENOTECH or its Affiliates cannot engineer, modify, derivatize, combine, develop or otherwise improve the Cell Lines, MFE, Permitted Improvements or other MultiCell Technologies unless and until the terms of Section 4.1 herein have been fully satisfied.
MultiCell Field means all uses and applications of the Technology outside of the CORNING Field and the Joint Field.

  • Licensed Field means all fields of use.

  • Licensed Field of Use means all fields.

  • Field of Use means all fields of use.

  • Licensed Fields of Use means the fields of use identified in Appendix B.

  • Licensed Technology means the Licensed Patents and the Licensed Know-How.

  • X-ray field means that area of the intersection of the useful beam and any one of the set of planes parallel to and including the plane of the image receptor, whose perimeter is the locus of points at which the exposure rate is one-fourth of the maximum in the intersection.

  • Licensor Technology means the Licensor Patents and the Licensor Know-How.

  • Manufacturing Technology means any and all patents, patent applications, Know-How, and all intellectual property rights associated therewith, and including all tangible embodiments thereof, that are necessary or useful for the manufacture of adeno- associated viruses, adeno-associated virus vectors, research or commercial reagents related thereto, Licensed Products, or other products, including manufacturing processes, technical information relating to the methods of manufacture, protocols, standard operating procedures, batch records, assays, formulations, quality control data, specifications, scale up, any and all improvements, modifications, and changes thereto, and any and all activities associated with such manufacture. Any and all chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC), drug master files (DMFs), or similar materials provided to regulatory authorities and the information contained therein are deemed Manufacturing Technology.

  • Product Technology means the Product Know-How and Product Patents.

  • Research Use shall have the meaning given in Section 2.2.2 of this Agreement.

  • Diagnostic Product means any test or assay for diagnosing or detecting a disease, disorder, medical condition, or symptom.

  • Licensed Compounds means any EZH2 Compound(s) that is:

  • Research License means a nontransferable, nonexclusive license to make and to use Licensed Products or Licensed Processes as defined by the Licensed Patent Rights for purposes of research and not for purposes of commercial manufacture or distribution or in lieu of purchase.

  • Collaboration Product means a pharmaceutical product containing or comprising Compound in any dosage form alone, or in combination with, one or more other pharmaceutically active ingredients, and any and all Improvements thereto.

  • Licensee Technology means the Licensee Know-How and Licensee Patents.

  • Third Party Technology means all Intellectual Property and products owned by third parties and licensed pursuant to Third Party Licenses.

  • Exclusive Field means the diagnosis, treatment or prevention of any cancer in humans through the use of Engineered T-Cells, which shall exclude the diagnosis, treatment or prevention of medullary cystic kidney disease 1 regardless of whether such disease is characterized as a cancer.

  • Light field means that area of the intersection of the light beam from the beam-limiting device and one of the set of planes parallel to and including the plane of the image receptor, whose perimeter is the locus of points at which the illumination is one-fourth of the maximum in the intersection.

  • Bioassay means the determination of kinds, quantities or concentrations and, in some cases, the locations of radioactive material in the human body, whether by direct measurement, in vivo counting, or by analysis and evaluation of materials excreted or removed from the human body. For purposes of these rules, “radiobioassay” is an equivalent term.

  • Licensed Products means tangible materials which, in the course of manufacture, use, sale, or importation, would be within the scope of one or more claims of the Licensed Patent Rights that have not been held unpatentable, invalid or unenforceable by an unappealed or unappealable judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction.

  • Commercialization or “Commercialize” means any and all activities undertaken at any time for a particular Licensed Product and that relate to the manufacturing, marketing, promoting, distributing, importing or exporting for sale, offering for sale, and selling of the Licensed Product, and interacting with Regulatory Authorities regarding the foregoing.

  • Joint Technology means Joint Know-How and Joint Patents.

  • Licensed Product means a product, method or service in the Licensed Field of Use, the making, having made, using, importing or selling of which, absent this license, infringes, induces infringement, or contributes to infringement of a Licensed Patent.

  • Developed Technology means any Technology including, without limitation, any enhancements, substitutions or improvements to the Core Technology that is (a) discovered, developed or otherwise acquired by DURA pursuant to the terms of the Development Agreement or (b) otherwise acquired by or on behalf of Xxxxxx Corp. II during the term of the Development Agreement.

  • Field means all fields of use.

  • geographical indication , in relation to goods, means an indication which identifies such goods as agricultural goods, natural goods or manufactured goods as originating, or manufactured in the territory of a country, or a region or locality in that territory, where a given quality, reputation or other characteristic of such goods is essentially attributable to its geographical origin and in case where such goods are manufactured goods one of the activities of either the production or of processing or preparation of the goods concerned takes place in such territory, region or locality, as the case may be.
