MOPIC definition

MOPIC means the Recipient’s Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation or any successor thereof.

  • The Recipient, through the MOPIC and the MOSD, as the case may be, shall carry out the Project with due diligence and efficiency in conformity with appropriate administrative, financial, technical, procurement, Environmental and Social Standards and practices, and in accordance with the Environmental and Social Commitment Plan (“ESCP”) and the Operations Manual (“OM”), as applicable, and shall promptly provide the funds, facilities, services and other resources required for the Project.

  • The Borrower shall be responsible for the overall implementation of the Project and shall carry out the Project through its MOPIC, in coordination with designated focal points in its MOH; to this end, the Borrower shall, throughout Project implementation, ensure that MOPIC and MOH designate and assign staff in adequate numbers and with qualifications satisfactory to the Bank to be responsible for Project implementation.

  • The Recipient shall vest in MOPIC the overall responsibility for the coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of the Operation.

  • In Jordan, for example, the Compact management unit in MOPIC is interested in discussing RDPP support to its efforts to develop approaches to engage more efficiently with the private sector.
