It is understood and agreed that the crew of the vessel will be required to assist handling fenders and cargo hoses as well as mooring and unmooring as designated by the Mooring Master at the transfer site at no additional cost to the Charterers.
The vessel may be required to accept dirty ballast from one or more of Charterers lightering vessels in performance of the lightering operation if technically and operationally feasible and the Owners warrants that the Master will co-operate with the Mooring Master concerning dirty ballast to the extent possible in the Master’s discretion.
The Owners are to agree to allow supervisory personnel on board, including but not limited to a qualified/experienced Mooring Master, to assist in the performance of the lightering operation.
It is further understood and agreed that the crew of the Vessel will assist in handling fenders and cargo hoses as well as mooring and unmooring as required by the Mooring Master at no cost to the Charterers.
Terminal availability for berthing and loading will remain under full responsibility and control of the FPSO Mooring Master.
In particular CONTRACTOR shall supply a well trained Mooring Master, who will have in charge the supervision of the offloading operations.
Presence of the Mooring Master on board in no way relieves the Master of the Tug or Carrier of any responsibilities under this Contract.
Carrier will use and employ the nominated mooring master (hereinafter "Mooring Master") to advise in mooring, connecting of hoses, discharging, loading, unmooring and departing from the Tesoro SPM as and if required by the Tesoro SPM terminal operator.
The Mooring Master is supplied on the condition that in the performance of any service rendered with respect to the Vessels, he/she is the servant of the Vessels and Carrier, and not the servant of Shipper nor any of its associated or affiliated companies, nor any of Shipper's Cargo suppliers or receivers, nor any of the employees, representatives, servants and agents of any of the foregoing.
