MMDS definition

MMDS means, collectively, Multipoint Distribution Service and Multichannel Multipoint Distribution Service, in each case a domestic transmission service licensed by the FCC pursuant to Part 21 of the FCC Rules.
MMDS means the means of delivering video programming by direct broadcast to single family or multi-tenant dwellings by use of microwave frequencies, including only those frequencies classified by the Federal Communications Commission or its successor (“FCC”) as Local Multipoint Distribution Service, Multichannel Multipoint Distribution Service, Multipoint Distribution Service, Instructional Television Fixed Service and Operational Fixed Service.
