MITZ definition
MITZ means major impact traffic zone and refers to arterials or collectors that provide transportation corridors throughout the City of Tucson. It also includes the downtown city center and its immediate surroundings. It is generally bounded by Toole Ave/4th Avenue, 6th St, Granada Avenue, and Cushing Street.
