Minor repairs and maintenance definition

Minor repairs and maintenance means minor repairs and/or maintenance that the manufacturer prescribes and which the manufacturer identifies as being performable by the equipment owner or operator.
Minor repairs and maintenance means minor repairs or maintenance as each are prescribed in the manufacturer's operating instructions to be performed by the equipment owner or his authorized agent, and shall not include replacement and repairs of any nature on natural gas piping, natural gas controls, the manufacturer installed controls and components, the vent system of fuel burning appliances, a breach of the integrity of a refrigeration system or any repair or maintenance which would violate the safe operation of the equipment.
Minor repairs and maintenance. PFBO shall periodically inspect, maintain, and make minor repairs to all publicly-owned buildings, t-hangars, and the heating and air conditioning system at the Airport. The City will furnish the materials for all minor repairs. Repairs costing more than $100 must be approved by the City prior to making the repair. Any repair/maintenance on the publicly-owned buildings that is estimated to cost more than $300 per repair will be considered major repair/maintenance and said repair/maintenance shall be the responsibility of the City. PFBO shall notify the City if repairs require specialized equipment or certifications. It will be the responsibility of the PFBO to perform light maintenance within all leased areas. PFBO shall not make any improvements or alterations to any Airport facilities, nor construct any new facilities without the express written consent of the City. It will be the responsibility of the PFBO to comply with applicable building regulations and to obtain a building permit prior to construction.
