Minor Child or Children definition

Minor Child or Children with respect to a Participant means each person who is the natural or legally adopted son or daughter of the Participant or of his or her Spouse and who has not yet attained his or her eighteenth birthday.
Minor Child or Children means any individual or individuals who is/are less than eighteen years old.

  • For all Members retiring for any reason from and after February 1, 1974, upon completion of thirty-six (36) months of retirement, the monthly retirement benefits payable to such Retiree, or the monthly retirement benefits payable to the spouse or the Minor Child or Children of such Retiree, shall be increased two percent (2%) per year based on the original benefit, not compounded.

You must provide proof of Your Disabled Child’s status within 31 days after the date on which insurance would otherwise end because of the Child’s age. Thereafter, We may require further proof of Your Disabled Child’s status, but not more often than annually. Costs associated with such proof will be Your responsibility.

  • Marriage and family therapist means a marriage and family therapist licensed by the board to practice marriage and family therapy as defined in division (G) of section 4757.01 of the Revised Code.

  • de facto spouse means a person of the opposite sex to the employee who lives with the employee as the husband or wife of the employee on a bona fide domestic basis, although not legally married to that person.

  • Birth family or "birth sibling" means the child's biological family or biological sibling.

  • Dependent child means a child residing in an individual’s household who may legally be claimed as a dependent on the federal income tax of such individual.

  • Family abuse means any act involving violence, force, or threat that results in bodily injury or

  • Family child care home means a private home in which 1 but fewer than 7 minor children are received for care and supervision for compensation for periods of less than 24 hours a day, unattended by a parent or legal guardian, except children related to an adult member of the household by blood, marriage, or adoption. Family child care home includes a home in which care is given to an unrelated minor child for more than 4 weeks during a calendar year. A family child care home does not include an individual providing babysitting services for another individual. As used in this subparagraph, "providing babysitting services" means caring for a child on behalf of the child's parent or guardian if the annual compensation for providing those services does not equal or exceed $600.00 or an amount that would according to the internal revenue code of 1986 obligate the child's parent or guardian to provide a form 1099-MISC to the individual for compensation paid during the calendar year for those services.

  • Family Members means, as to a Person that is an individual, such Person’s spouse, ancestors, descendants (whether by blood or by adoption or step-descendants by marriage), brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and inter vivos or testamentary trusts (whether revocable or irrevocable) of which only such Person and his or her spouse, ancestors, descendants (whether by blood or by adoption or step-descendants by marriage), brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews are beneficiaries.

  • Abused child means a child who has been subjected to abuse.

  • Registered domestic partner means an individual joined in a domestic partnership that is registered by a county clerk in accordance with ORS 106.300 to 106.340.
