Military salary means the base, specialty, and other pay, but does not include allowances such as the basic allow- ance for housing.
Military salary means all monies paid to active duty military personnel as defined in the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) Military Pay Table in effect for the requested period.

Military munitions do not include wholly inert items, improvised explosive devices, and nuclear weapons, nuclear devices, and nuclear components thereof. However, the term does include non-nuclear components of nuclear devices, managed under DOE's nuclear weapons program after all required sanitization operations under the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, have been completed.

  • Seasonal employment means the employment of 1 or more individuals primarily hired to perform services during regularly recurring periods of 26 weeks or less in any 52-week period other than services in the construction industry.
