Member of the family definition

Member of the family shall have the meaning prescribed by Code Section 529(e)(2), and shall mean any individual who bears one of the following relationships to the beneficiary:
Member of the family means a family member as defined in section 529 of the internal revenue code.
Member of the family means spouse, child, sibling, par- ent or legal guardian.

Examples of Member of the family in a sentence

  • Member of the family has the meaning given it in§ 25.2702–2(a)(1).

  • No Benefits are eligible for payment on any covered Member of the family until the total Family Deductible Amount has been met.

  • Once the Family Calendar Year Deductible has been satisfied, no other Member of the family will have any additional Calendar Year Deductible responsibility for the remainder of that Calendar Year.

  • Member of the family unit has the same meaning as in regulation 1.12 of the Regulations.
