medically qualified definition

medically qualified in relation to any person means:
medically qualified means qualified in accordance with the medical qualifications spelled out in the contract or as specified by law. Any and all U.S. Government or military officials tasked with administering, implementing, or overseeing the MQ-1 and MQ-9 Contract Aircrew Training and Courseware Development (CAT/CWD) Contract shall hereinafter be referred to as the Government.   • Legally Qualified Physician means a physician or a Christian Science Practitioner (a) other than an Insured, a Traveling Companion or a Family Member: (b) practicing within the scope of his or her license: and (c) recognized as a physician in the place where the services are rendered.

  • Qualified health plan means a health benefit plan that has in effect a certification that the plan

  • Medically Necessary means a service which is appropriate and consistent with the treatment of the condition in accordance with accepted standards of community practice.

  • Eligible veteran means an individual who is certified by the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs as meeting all of the following conditions:

  • Medical home means a team approach to providing health care that originates in a primary care setting; fosters a partnership among the patient, the personal provider, other health care professionals, and where appropriate, the patient’s family; utilizes the partnership to access all medical and nonmedical health-related services needed by the patient and the patient’s family to achieve maximum health potential; maintains a centralized, comprehensive record of all health-related services to promote continuity of care; and has all of the characteristics specified in Iowa Code section 135.158.

  • Person with a developmental disability means a person

  • Eligible Dependent means a child of an Eligible Retiree who satisfies the requirements for eligibility described in the Eligibility section of this document.

  • Qualified relative, for purposes of item 5, means a spouse, parent, stepparent, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister, half-brother, half-sister, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, first cousin, or any person denoted by the prefix "grand" or "great," or the spouse of any of the persons specified in this definition, even after the marriage has been terminated by death or dissolution.

  • Qualified veteran means a person who meets the following requirements:

  • Data qualifier means a specified character (or string of characters) that immediately precedes a data field that defines the general category or intended use of the data that follows.

  • Qualified mental health professional means a licensed medical practitioner or any other person meeting the qualifications specified in OAR 309-019-0125.
