Medically Cleared definition

Medically Cleared means that a Pretrial Detainee is, in the opinion of the Department’s medical staff, appropriate for Inpatient Competency Evaluation or Inpatient Restoration Treatment.
Medically Cleared means a determination made within 24 hours prior to admission by the medical director that an individual is physically capable of participating in facility activities and programming and not at risk of medical complications that would be unmanageable by the facility.
