Medical Spend definition
Medical Spend means the sum of the direct, indirect, and sub-contracted costs for providing all Covered Services provided under this Contract, verified through encounters submitted through the Medicaid Management Information System and supplemental financial information, subject to Department approval.
Examples of Medical Spend in a sentence
The Contractor’s Medical Spend will be calculated and verified using both encounter data submitted through the State’s Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS), as well as audited supplemental data provided in the Contractor’s annual financial reporting.
