Medical Specialists. The plan shall provide for an adequate numbers of medical specialists to meet the needs of its members. Clients with chronic or severe medical conditions, e.g., HIV/AIDS, may be allowed to go directly to a qualified specialist within the plan’s network pursuant to Section 13.5.3 and 13.5.4.
