Medical Education Services definition

Medical Education Services means the services to be provided by Cardinal Health pursuant to Article 4 of this Agreement.
Medical Education Services means the clinical training Resident receives and the medical care Resident provides to patients while Resident is participating in the Graduate Medical Education Program and under the direct supervision of a licensed physician in the applicable specialty.
Medical Education Services shall have the meaning set forth in Clause 23.1; “Minimum Budget” shall have the meaning set forth in Clause 30.4. “Monthly Invoice” shall have the meaning set forth in Clause 30.7.

  • The Concessionaire shall operate the Medical College and provide the Medical Education Services, in accordance with the requirements of MCI or equivalent authority and all Applicable Laws and Applicable Permits.

  • The resident may choose a resident or faculty member from his/her program, to serve as an advocate during the appeals hearing so long as written notification is given to the Director of Medical Education Services (or designee) at least three (3) business days prior to the hearing.

  • Adhere to all applicable Medicare and Medicaid laws and regulations, third party payor regulations and Florida laws and regulations with regard to billing and coding practices and maintain current knowledge of billing and coding requirements as they apply to Medical Education Services performed by the Fellow, as required to adhere to the foregoing obligations.

  • Nothing in this Agreement is intended to be or shall be construed to afford Resident any status other than that of employee while participating in educational activities and providing Medical Education Services pursuant to this Agreement.

  • Cardinal Health shall perform such medical education and promotional services as are approved by the JCC and mutually agreed upon by the Parties (the "Medical Education Services").

  • The parties hereto represent, covenant, and agree that the compensation set forth herein has been determined through good faith and arm’s length bargaining to be commercially reasonable and fair market value for the Medical Education Services to be provided by Resident hereunder.

  • The parties acknowledge that although Resident is obligated to provide the Medical Education Services as specified in this Agreement, there is no obligation of Resident to refer patients to Broward Health or any affiliate of Broward Health, and there is no obligation of Broward Health to refer patients to Resident.

  • The Concessionaire shall operate the Medical College and provide the Medical Education Services, in accordance with the requirements of the MCI or equivalent authority and all Applicable Laws and Applicable Permits.

  • It is the intent of the parties that all compensation provided for the Medical Education Services set forth herein shall be commercially reasonable and within fair market value at all times.

  • If such information includes materials previously developed or copyrighted by Cardinal Health and not developed under this Agreement, Cardinal Health grants and agrees to grant to BCI and to all companies owned directly or indirectly by BCI, severally, a royalty-free license to use and copy such materials solely for the purpose of providing the Medical Education Services.

Related to Medical Education Services

  • Education Services means training services performed or delivered by Company.

  • Educational Services means educational training provided to Entitled Students at a School;

  • General education means the compulsory school attendance phase as referred to in section 3 of the South African Schools Act, 1996 (Act No. 84 of 1996); and

  • Education service provider means an education management organization, school

  • Hospice services means palliative and supportive care and other services provided by an interdisciplinary team under the direction of an identifiable hospice administration to terminally ill hospice patients and their families to meet the physical, nutritional, emotional, social, spiritual, and special needs experienced during the final stages of illness, dying, and bereavement, as defined in Minnesota Statutes, § 144A.75, subd. 8, and includes the set of services as determined by the Medicare program under §1861(dd) of the Social Security Act and defined in 42 CFR § 418.3.
