Medical check-up definition

Medical check-up means a physical examination of the employee by a health professional for (and only for) determining the employee’s state of health.

  • Inpatient hospital services means any health care service provided to a patient who has been admitted to a hospital and is required to remain in that hospital overnight, but does not include any secure forensic mental health services;

  • Medical evaluation means the process of assessing an individual's health status that includes a medical history and a physical examination of an individual conducted by a licensed medical practitioner operating within the scope of his license.
