Medical Benefits Account definition

Medical Benefits Account means the account established in accordance with Code Section 401(h) as part of the Retirement Program for the purpose of providing retiree medical benefits, as described in Article 14 (Retiree Medical Benefits).
Medical Benefits Account means the bookkeeping account established under Section 17.1 to provide for the payment of Medical Benefits on behalf of Medical Beneficiaries.
Medical Benefits Account means the separate account established under this Article that provides for the payment of benefits for sickness, accident, hospitalization, and medical expenses of Medical Benefits Account Beneficiaries and that is intended to satisfy the requirements of Code Section 401(h).

  • The term "Qualified Transfer" shall mean an allocation of Excess Pension Assets to the Medical Benefits Account pursuant to Section 9 of this Article XXIII.

  • Gap medical benefits means the benefits (if any) payable in respect of medical expenses that are less than, greater than or equal to the schedule fee, provided always that the medical expenses relate to a professional service that:

The Deferred Compensation Account shall be credited with Participant Deferral Credits and Employer Credits, credited or debited for deemed investment gains or losses, and adjusted for payments in accordance with the rules and elections in effect under Section 8. The Deferred Compensation Account of a Participant shall include any In-Service or Education Account of the Participant, if applicable.

  • Medical benefit plan means a plan established and maintained by a carrier, a voluntary employees' beneficiary association described in section 501(c)(9) of the internal revenue code of 1986, 26 USC 501, or by 1 or more public employers, that provides for the payment of medical benefits, including, but not limited to, hospital and physician services, prescription drugs, and related benefits, for public employees or elected public officials. Medical benefit plan does not include benefits provided to individuals retired from a public employer or a public employer's contributions to a fund used for the sole purpose of funding health care benefits that are available to a public employee or an elected public official only upon retirement or separation from service.

  • Additional gap medical benefits means the benefits (if any) payable in respect of medical expenses that are more than the schedule fee and which otherwise meet the requirements of the fund’s no or known gap policy, provided always that the medical expenses relate to a professional service that:

  • Deferral Account means the Company's accounting of the Director's accumulated Deferrals plus accrued interest.
