Medical Appeal Tribunal definition

Medical Appeal Tribunal means the Medical Appeal Tribunal constituted under Article 9(2)(a);

  • Appeal Tribunal means the all-citizen Tribunal duly appointed by Council to conduct hearings under this By-law; (200-08)

  • Appeals Tribunal or “AT” means the Body responsible for hearing and determining appeals set out in section 9;

  • Appeal Panel means a panel comprised of a chair and two individuals appointed by the Board to consider appeals under Chapter 7.

  • Clinical means having a significant relationship, whether real or potential, direct or indirect, to the actual rendering or outcome of dental care, the practice of dentistry, or the quality of dental care being rendered to a patient;

  • Appeal Committee means the appeal committee established by the Council in terms of section 12(3)(a);

  • Division of hearings and appeals means the division of hearings and appeals in the department of administration.

  • Responding tribunal means the authorized tribunal in a responding state or foreign country.

  • Appeal Board means the State Charter School Appeal

  • Initiating tribunal means the tribunal of a state or foreign country from which a petition or comparable pleading is forwarded or in which a petition or comparable pleading is filed for forwarding to another state or foreign country.

  • Joint Commercialization Committee or “JCC” has the meaning set forth in Section 3.4 (Joint Commercialization Committee).

  • Appeals Panel means a panel appointed by the Chief Compliance Officer pursuant to Rule 620.

  • Phase 3 Clinical Trial means a pivotal clinical trial in humans performed to gain evidence with statistical significance of the efficacy of a product in a target population, and to obtain expanded evidence of safety for such product that is needed to evaluate the overall benefit-risk relationship of such product, to form the basis for approval of an NDA and to provide an adequate basis for physician labeling, as described in 21 C.F.R. § 312.21(c) or the corresponding regulation in jurisdictions other than the United States.

  • Clinical Trial means a Phase I Clinical Trial, Phase II Clinical Trial or Phase III Clinical Trial, or any post-approval human clinical trial, as applicable.

  • Joint Patent Committee or “JPC” has the meaning set forth in Section 7.1.3(a).

  • Arbitration Tribunal means an organ composed of an odd number of persons known as arbitrators, who decide on the solution of a conflict in which the parties have expressly waived recourse to the ordinary civil courts

  • Appeal authority means the executive authority of the municipality or any other body or institution outside of the municipality authorised by that municipality to assume the obligations of an appeal authority for purposes of appeals lodged in terms of the Act;

  • Arbitral Tribunal means a sole arbitrator or a panel of arbitrators;

  • District Evaluation Advisory Committee means a group created to oversee and guide the planning and implementation of the Board of Education's evaluation policies and procedures as set forth in N.J.A.C. 6A:10-2.3.

  • the Tribunal means the Upper Tribunal (Tax and Chancery Chamber).

  • Commercialization Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 6.2.

  • Joint Remediation Committee has the meaning set forth in Section II.A.2.

  • Clinical Study means a Phase I Study, Phase II Study, Phase III Study, or Pivotal Study, as applicable; but excluding any Post-Approval Studies.

  • Clinical Trials means a controlled study in humans of the safety or efficacy of a Product, and includes, without limitation, such clinical trials as are designed to support expanded labeling or to satisfy the requirements of an Agency in connection with any Product Approval and any other human study used in research and Development of a Product.

  • County Political Party Committee means a committee organized pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:5-3.

  • Regulatory Oversight Committee means the committee of the Board constituted in accordance with Rule 204.

  • Pivotal Trial means a controlled pivotal clinical trial of Licensed Technology that is prospectively designed to demonstrate statistically whether such Licensed Technology is effective and safe for use in a particular indication in a manner sufficient to obtain regulatory approval to market such product in the United States, European Union, or other foreign jurisdiction.
