If it is found that feminine products or prophylactics have been flushed and clog the septic system, you may be charged damages of up to five hundred dollars ($500). HOUSEKEEPING \u2013 While linens and bath towels are included in the cottage, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the cottage. You must leave the cottage in the same clean condition in which you found it on arrival. DAMAGE DEPOSIT - A $150 damage deposit must be received within fifteen (15) days of arrival. The deposit is not applied toward rent and therefore is not taxed. The deposit is fully refundable within (14) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met. \uf0b7 No damage is done to cottage or its contents. \uf0b7 All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in garbage cans and dirty dishes are washed and put away. \uf0b7 All keys are left on the kitchen table and cottage is left locked. \uf0b7 All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure. \uf0b7 No linens are lost or damaged. \uf0b7 No early check-in or late checkout. \uf0b7 No excessive use of firewood. \uf0b7 There is no smoking in the cottage or the screen room. \uf0b7 There are no pets (other than pre-approved service animals). \uf0b7 The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner) or the local law enforcement. RATES \u2013 Rent is $150 per night based for one to four persons (maximum sleeping accommodations).
