Material Recovery Facility (MRF) definition

Material Recovery Facility (MRF) means an establishment where Recyclable Materials are sorted and processed or prepared for bulk shipment to a manufacturer for use as a raw material.
Material Recovery Facility (MRF) means a facility where source-separated recyclables are either stored until large enough volumes are collected to be shipped to a buyer or processor, or they are processed to meet the specifications of recycling markets.
