Maintenance Outage definition

Maintenance Outage means an outage of a facility, on either a planned or unplanned basis, in order to perform maintenance in order to return the facility to service.
Maintenance Outage means NERC Event Type MO, as provided in attached Exhibit J, and includes any outage involving ten percent (10%) of the Facility’s Net Output that is not a Forced Outage or a Planned Outage.
Maintenance Outage means a time period during which Seller plans to reduce the Power Output of the Power Product, in full or in part, in order to facilitate maintenance work on the Generating Facility, other than a Major Overhaul.

  • PacifiCorp will promptly respond to such notice and may request reasonable modifications in the schedule for the Maintenance Outage.

  • Seller must take all reasonable measures consistent with the Generation Interconnection Agreement, Prudent Electrical Practices, the Storage Operating Procedures and the Storage Facility equipment manufacturer recommendations (but only to the extent compliance with the Storage Facility equipment manufacturer recommendations could not reasonably have been addressed in Planned Outages and the Storage Operating Procedures) to not schedule any Maintenance Outage during any of the Excluded Months.

  • Once the Maintenance Outage has commenced, Seller must keep PacifiCorp apprised of any changes in the Storage Power Capacity Rating or Storage Energy Capacity available from the Storage Facility during the Maintenance Outage and any changes in the expected Maintenance Outage completion date and time.

  • If Seller reasonably determines that it is necessary to schedule a Maintenance Outage for the Storage Facility, Seller must notify PacifiCorp of the proposed Maintenance Outage as soon as practicable but in any event at least five (5) days before the Maintenance Outage begins (or such shorter period as PacifiCorp may consent to in writing).

  • Notice of a proposed Maintenance Outage by Seller must include the expected start date and time of the Maintenance Outage, the amount of the Storage Power Capacity Rating or Storage Energy Capacity of the Storage Facility that will not be available, and the expected completion date and time of the Maintenance Outage.


More Definitions of Maintenance Outage

Maintenance Outage means an interruption or reduction of the Facility’s generating capability, on or after the Commercial Operations Date, that is not a Scheduled Outage and has been scheduled under Section 9.4 for the purpose of performing work on specific components, which should not, in the reasonable opinion of the Company, be postponed until the next Scheduled Outage;
Maintenance Outage means the temporary operational removal of the Facility from service to perform work on specific components of the Facility, at a time when the Facility must be removed from service before the next Planned Outage in the interest of safety or the prevention of injury or damage to or undue wear and tear on the Facility or any component thereof.
