Maintainable definition

Maintainable means able to preserve or keep in an existing condition.
Maintainable means roads that can be maintained in a serviceable condition through the application of routine and periodic maintenance.

Examples of Maintainable in a sentence

  • Lines installed over the carriageway of a Maintainable Highway or, in Scotland, a Public Road shall be placed at a height of not less than 5.5 metres above the carriageway (or in the case of a designated high load route not less than 6.7 metres), except where the Highway Authority or, in Scotland, the Roads Authority has previously otherwise agreed in writing.

  • All lines installed underground after the date on which this Licence enters into force, in a part of a Maintainable Highway which is paved or in a Street which the Highway Authority has notified the Licensee is to be paved, shall, whenever practicable, be installed in Ducts.

Related to Maintainable

  • Courts means the Ontario Court, the Quebec Court and the BC Court.

  • Selected Courts has the meaning set forth in Section 4.07.

  • Chosen Courts has the meaning set forth in Section 8.5.

  • Venue means the premises as delineated and shown edged red in Annex A.

  • Competent Court means the Supreme Court of India or any High Court, or any tribunal or any similar judicial or quasi-judicial body that has jurisdiction in relation to issues relating to the Project.
