Main Section definition

Main Section means the balance of the fund after deducting the amount attributable to the supplementary section.
Main Section means the sub-transmission that has the largest number of forward gears in a compound transmission;
Main Section means the Section which is created from the existing assets and liabilities as at 30 September 2020 pursuant to Rule 10.1(a) and into which the assets of each Transferring Section are transferred as at Centralisation. For the avoidance of doubt, where there are no Non-transferring Sections, the Rules will continue to refer to the Main Section notwithstanding that it comprises all of the assets and liabilities of the Scheme and that therefore the Scheme ceases to be a segregated scheme.

  • The Bank and NWPTL shall work together to agree an appropriate level of Buy-in Buffer in conjunction with the actuarial valuation as at 31 December 2026 for the Main Section and alongside each successive triennial valuation, taking account of any changes to the Main Section’s residual risks at that time.

More Definitions of Main Section

Main Section means the terms and conditions as set out in clauses 1 to 29 of this portion of the Agreement, as distinct from those contained in any Schedule.
