Lot Grading definition

Lot Grading means a general term referring to the combination of lot grade elevations and resultant slopes within a given lot;
Lot Grading means the establishment of finished ground elevations as outlined in the site plan described in 4.4 of this By-law.
Lot Grading means any work, operation, or activity that results in a disturbance of the earth, which has the effect of changing the surface elevation or slope of the lot, other than for building purposes, but does not include aggregate extraction, commercial logging, tree clearing, or dugouts;

Examples of Lot Grading in a sentence

  • The Individual Lot Grading Plan shall be prepared in accordance with the Town’s current policies and standards.

  • A Group Grievance as provided for in this Article 8.12 shall be commenced within five (5) working days after the circumstances giving rise to the grievance first occurred or ought reasonably to have come to the employees’ or Union’s attention.

  • The Owner will provide an “As-Built” Lot Grading Plan reflecting all alterations, additions, and amendments.

  • The Owner further AGREES to have the Engineer review the as-built Lot Grading Plan and issue a Certificate in accordance with Section 5.e).

  • The Owner shall also submit, at the time of building permit application, Individual Lot Grading Plans, to be approved by the Chief Building Official, which shall be prepared in accordance with the approved Overall Grading Plan.

  • The Building Division will require the submission of two (2) copies of the Lot Grading Plan, prepared and stamped by an Engineer or Ontario Land Surveyor.


More Definitions of Lot Grading

Lot Grading means the reshaping or sloping of the land in such a way that surface drainage from rainstorms, snowmelt or groundwater is directed away from the buildings and is controlled in a manner that eliminates or minimizes the impact on adjacent properties and employs good Stormwater management principles.

Related to Lot Grading

  • Highest adjacent grade means the highest natural elevation of the ground surface prior to construction next to the proposed walls of a structure.

  • Highest Adjacent Grade (HAG) means the highest natural elevation of the ground surface, prior to construction, immediately next to the proposed walls of the structure.
