Local Business Enterprise definition

Local Business Enterprise means a business entity located within the counties of Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry or Will in the State of Illinois (the "Six County Region"), which has the majority of its regular, full time work force located within the Six County Region.
Local Business Enterprise is intended to mean a business concern that is a) owned 51% or more by Nevada residents, b) is headquartered in Nevada, or c) a majority of employees of the business are Nevada residents.
Local Business Enterprise. (LBE) means a business enterprise as that term defined by the Act.

Local Business Enterprise or LBE" means a business headquartered or which maintains a major branch that performs the significant functions of the business in Wyandotte County or a business of which at least 51% of the stock, equity, or beneficial interest is owned, held, or controlled and whose day-to-day management is under the control of an individual residing in Wyandotte County. There is no formal certification process for LBE designation. It is determined and assigned based on the criteria referenced in this definition and payment of all applicable Wyandotte County taxes and/or licensing fees.
