Loaned Securities definition

Loaned Securities means Securities which are the subject of an outstanding Loan;
Loaned Securities shall be those Securities which are loaned to the Borrower(s) by the Bank, securities identical to such Securities, or securities equivalent to such loaned securities in the event of a reorganization, recapitalization or merger affecting the originally loaned securities.
Loaned Securities means all securities loaned to the Borrower hereunder or an equal principal amount of the same issue or series and any securities issued in exchange therefor.

Examples of Loaned Securities in a sentence

  • Lender may similarly apply the Collateral and any proceeds thereof to any other obligation of Borrower under this Agreement, including Borrower’s obligations with respect to Distributions paid to Borrower (and not forwarded to Lender) in respect of Loaned Securities.

  • In the event that Lender shall exercise such rights, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇’s obligation to return a like amount of the Loaned Securities shall terminate.

Loaned Securities means any Security transferred in a Loan hereunder until such Security (or an identical Security) is transferred back to Lender hereunder, except that, if any new or different Security shall be exchanged for any Loaned Security by recapitalization, merger, consolidation or other corporate action, such new or different Security shall, effective upon such exchange, be deemed to become a Loaned Security in substitution for the former Loaned Security for which such exchange is made. For purposes of return of Loaned Securities by Borrower or purchase or sale of Securities pursuant to Section 13, such term shall include Securities of the same issuer, class and quantity as the Loaned Securities, as adjusted pursuant to the preceding sentence.
