Board means the Board of Directors of the Company.
Department means the department of natural resources.
Person means any individual, corporation, limited liability company, partnership, joint venture, association, joint-stock company, trust, unincorporated organization or government or any agency or political subdivision thereof.
Antenna means communications equipment that transmits or receives electromagnetic radio frequency signals used in the provision of wireless services.
satellite dish antenna means apparatus fixed to a structure or mounted permanently on the ground and that is capable of receiving or transmitting communications from a satellite;
Satellite means any satellite owned by the Issuer or any of its Restricted Subsidiaries and any satellite purchased by the Issuer or any of its Restricted Subsidiaries pursuant to the terms of a Satellite Purchase Agreement, whether such satellite is in the process of manufacture, has been delivered for launch or is in orbit (whether or not in operational service).
Telecommunications Equipment means equipment, other than Customer Premises Equipment, used by a Carrier to provide Telecommunications Services, and include software integral to such equipment, including upgrades.
Communications Equipment means, as to any Site, transmitting and/or receiving equipment and other equipment installed at the Sprint Collocation Space (with respect to Sprint Collocator) or any other portion of the Site (with respect to a Tower Subtenant), which is used in providing current and future wireless and wireline communication services, including without limitation, switches, antennas, microwave dishes, panels, conduits, flexible transmission lines, cables, radio, amplifiers, filters and other transmission or communications equipment (including interconnect transmission equipment, transmitter(s), receiver(s) and accessories) and such other equipment and associated software as may be necessary in order to provide such wireless and wireline communication services, including without limitation, voice or data. Communications Equipment will include any existing, replaced and upgraded Communications Equipment.
Micro wireless facility means a small cell facility that is not larger in dimension than 24 inches in length, 15 inches in width, and 12 inches in height and that has an exterior antenna, if any, not longer than 11 inches.
SATELLITE DISH means a parabolic or spherical antenna which receives television or microwave transmissions or other signals from orbiting satellites or other devices.
Connectivity means the degree to which key natural heritage features are connected to one another by links such as plant and animal movement corridors, hydrological and nutrient cycling, genetic transfer, and energy flows through food webs;
Access Channel means any Channel, or portion thereof, designated for Access purposes or otherwise made available to facilitate or transmit Access programming or services.
Signage means any sign, notice, device, representation or advertisement that advertises or promotes any goods, services or events and any structure or vessel that is principally designed for, or that is used for, the display of signage, and includes any of the following:
Cable Television Network or “cable TV network” means any system consisting of a set of closed transmission paths and associated signal generation, control and distribution equipment, designed to provide cable service for reception by multiple subscribers;
Massive Multiauthor Collaboration Site (or “MMC Site”) means any World Wide Web server that publishes copyrightable works and also provides prominent facilities for anybody to edit those works. A public wiki that anybody can edit is an example of such a server. A “Massive Multiauthor Collaboration” (or “MMC”) contained in the site means any set of copyrightable works thus published on the MMC site.
functionality means the ability of a tenderer to provide goods or services in accordance with specifications as set out in the tender documents.
Kiosk means a department in a RIME Store.
public telecommunications network means the public telecommunications infrastructure which enables signals to be conveyed between defined network termination points by wire, by microwave, by optical means or by other electromagnetic means;
Mobile Device means a computing device, typically smaller than a notebook, which runs a mobile operating system, such as iOS, Android, or Windows Phone. Mobile Devices include smart phones, most tablets, and other form factors.
Common Channel Signaling (CCS) means an out-of-band, packet-switched, signaling network used to transport supervision signals, control signals, and data messages. It is a special network, fully separate from the transmission path of the public switched network. Unless otherwise agreed by the Parties, the CCS protocol used by the Parties shall be SS7.
telecommunications network means a system, or series of systems, that carries, or is capable of carrying, communications by means of guided or unguided electromagnetic energy, or both. "temporary structure" has the same meaning as in the Act.
Mobile means any mobile delivery technology including 3G, 3.5G, 4G, 5G cellular technology, and any subsequent generation technology, edge, DVBH or DMB which is or may be used with radio frequency spectrum in any band, to enable or facilitate transmission of textual material, data, voice, video and/or multimedia service to any device (whether now known or hereafter developed) which is capable of receiving and/or sending voice and/or data and/or video communications by means of a device which is designed primarily as a portable device.
Signal means any transmission of radio frequency energy or of optical information.
Web spray adhesive means any aerosol adhesive that is not a mist spray or special purpose spray adhesive.
Game means a “game of chance” or “game of skill” as defined in Section 99B.1 of the Code of Iowa.
