A Casual Employee shall be paid the hourly Base Wage Rate prescribed for that classification under Schedule A –Wages Tables and Schedule D – Linesperson Classifications of this Agreement (without annualised leave loading) with the addition of casual loading in lieu of annual leave, sick leave, family leave and payment for public holidays.
These employee(s) may have previously fallen into the classifications such as Electrical Mechanic, Electrical Fitter, Electrical Instrument Fitter, Electronics Tradesperson, Plant Electrician, Radio Mechanic or Fitter, Refrigeration and/or Air Conditioning Mechanic or Fitter, Battery Fitter, Electrician in Charge of Generating Plant, Labourer, Linesperson, Linesperson Special Class, Linesperson’s Assistant, Tradesperson’s Assistant, Tradesperson.
The work of a Lead Linesperson shall be the same as that of a lineperson who, as a working member of his crew, leads, directs and assigns work to linemen.
The work of a Linesperson shall consist of driving and servicing fuel trucks, and ground support vehicles, servicing aircraft and ground support vehicles with fuel, oil and all other supplies and other materials which may be required by the aircraft or vehicle; will also be responsible for operating and filling of fuel trucks; policing, servicing, operating and performing minor maintenance to their equipment.
On registration of this Agreement, Aggregated Wage Rates are in place for all Linesperson classifications.
