limiting distance definition

limiting distance means the distance from an exposing building face to a property line, the center line of a street, lane or public thoroughfare, or to an imaginary line between 2 buildings or fire compartments on the same property, measured at right angles to the exposing building face.

  • Beam-limiting device means a device which provides a means to restrict the dimensions of the x-ray field.

  • Variable-aperture beam-limiting device means a beam-limiting device which has capacity for stepless adjustment of the x-ray field size at a given SID.
