Light Industry definition

Light Industry means an industry not likely to cause injurious or obnoxious noise, smoke, gas, fumes, odours, dust, effluent and any other nuisance to an excessive degree and motivated by electric power;
Light Industry means an industry which is carried on in a special building and in which the process carried on or the machinery used is such as if carried on or used in a residential area would not cause detriment to the amenity of that area including detriment by reason of noise, vibration, smell, fumes, electrical interference, smoke, soot, ash, dust or grit;
Light Industry means the manufacturing, processing, compounding, packaging or assembling of products, the process of which does not require or create emissions or discharges other than normal sanitary sewage wastes or the storage of materials which require permits be issued by the Oregon State Department of Environmental Quality.

Light Industry means an industry;
Light Industry means manufacturing, processing, fabricating, assembling, storing, transporting, distributing, wholesaling, testing, servicing, or repairing of goods or materials including boat building and excluding wood processing, log storage, auto wrecking, refuse disposal, gravel processing, manufacture of concrete products, bulk fuel or chemical storage or refining depots, animal, marine products or agriculture products processing, or the production of fish or animal feeds;
Light Industry means any industry in which the processes carried on, the machinery used and the goods and commodities carried to and from the premises will not cause any injury to or prejudicially affect the amenity of the locality by reason of the emission of noise, vibration, smell, fumes, smoke, vapour, soot, ash, dust, waste water, waste products, grit, oil or otherwise;
Light Industry means an industry in which the processes carried on, or the transportation involved or the machinery or materials used, do not interfere unreasonably with the amenity of the neighbourhood, but (in the table to clause 9) does not include a use of land elsewhere defined in this Dictionary.
Light Industry means any production, processing, assembly or fabrication of goods, materials or products, includ- ing any incidental cleaning, servicing, testing, repair or storage of those same goods, materials or products, but not in- cluding the storage of flammable or combustible materials as a principal use.
Light Industry means an industry defined as such by the industries Department or as defined in these Regulations.
Light Industry means an industry employing not more than 50 workers with power or without power, aggregate installed power not exceeding 25 HP, and which conforms to performance standards as given in Schedule 1B not causing excessive, injurious or obnoxious fumes, odour, dust, effluent or other objectionable conditions.
