Liberty means Liberty Media Corporation, a Delaware corporation.
Constellation has the meaning assigned to that term in the Recitals.
Comcast means Comcast Corporation, a Pennsylvania corporation.
Solar energy means the sun used as the sole source of energy for producing electricity.
Operating Company means an “operating company” within the meaning of 29 C.F.R. §2510.3-101(c) of the Plan Asset Regulations.
Forest means an area of land defined by the minimum values for area size, tree crown cover or an equivalent stocking level, and potential tree height at maturity at the place of growth of the trees as specified for each Member State in Annex II. It includes areas with trees, including groups of growing, young, natural trees, or plantations that have yet to reach the minimum values for tree crown cover or an equivalent stocking level or minimum tree height as specified in Annex II, including any area that normally forms part of the forest area but on which there are temporarily no trees as a result of human intervention, such as harvesting, or as a result of natural causes, but which area can be expected to revert to forest;
Clean energy means Energy that qualifies as energy generated by a clean or renewable resource under British Columbia’s Clean Energy Act, SBC 2010, c.22, as amended from time to time.
Atlas means Automated Transportation Logistics Activity System. ATLAS is a computerized information system to which all Shippers have access upon request. ATLAS enables Shippers to nominate and release product and to monitor and coordinate the movement of Petroleum Products while on Carrier's system.
Pioneer or the "Company" means Pioneer Natural Resources Company and its subsidiaries.
PEBB means the public employees benefits board.
boycott energy company means “without an ordinary business purpose, refusing to deal with, terminating business activities with, or otherwise taking any action intended to penalize, inflict economic harm on, or limit commercial relations with a company because the company (a) engages in the exploration, production, utilization, transportation, sale, or manufacturing of fossil fuel-based energy and does not commit or pledge to meet environmental standards beyond applicable federal and state law, or (b) does business with a company described by paragraph (a).” (See Tex. Gov. Code 809.001). When applicable, does Vendor certify? The notice must include a general description of the conduct resulting in the conviction of a felony.” Subsection (b) states, "a school district may terminate a contract with a person or business entity if the district determines that the person or business entity failed to give notice as required by Subsection (a) or misrepresented the conduct resulting in the conviction. Excess Energy has the meaning set forth in Section 4.5(a)(i). [For As-Available Product only]
Net Energy The total quantity of electric energy (measured in kilowatt hours) produced by the Facility over a given time period and delivered to the Point of Interconnection, as measured by the revenue meter. "Net Energy" the equivalent of "Actual Output."
MLP has the meaning given such term in the introduction to this Agreement.
Generating Company means any company or body corporate or association or body of individuals, whether incorporated or not, or artificial juridical person, which owns or operates or maintains a generating station;
Natural parent means a minor's biological or adoptive parent, and includes the minor's noncustodial parent.
Parent means a “parent corporation,” whether now or hereafter existing, as defined in Section 424(e) of the Code.
mean high water springs or “MHWS” means the highest level which spring tides reach on average over a period of time;
TCI means Tele-Communications, Inc., a Delaware corporation.
Operating Companies means, collectively, the Creekside Operating Company, the Mentone Operating Company and the Yucaipa Operating Company. “Operating Company” means any of the Operating Companies.
Gas company means any person distributing gas within the corporate limits or authorized and proposing to so engage.
Energy means electricity, natural gas, steam, hot or chilled water, fuel oil, or other product for use in a building, or renewable on-site electricity generation, for purposes of providing heating, cooling, lighting, water heating, or for powering or fueling other end-uses in the building and related facilities, as reflected in Utility bills or other documentation of actual Energy use.
Wireline means a cable containing one or more electrical conductors which is used to lower and raise logging tools in the well-bore.
Cendant means Cendant Corporation, a Delaware corporation.
Dean means the head of a faculty of the University;
Gas Corporation means the body corporate established by section 4 of the Gas Corporation Act 1994;
