Level of activity definition

Level of activity means the time that a doctoral student has had at his or her disposal to carry out third-cycle studies. The tasks that are registered here and in Ladok form the basis for assessing how much time remains of the doctoral student’s employment. The employment of a doctoral student comprises an annual working time of 1,720 hours. Sick leaves and parental leaves, service in the total defense, positions of trust or other valid absence are deducted from the annual working time (as indicated in the personnel administration system Primula). Departmental duties are also deducted according to the result in section 5.2.
