LEPTIN definition

LEPTIN means any cytokine-like hormone expressed primarily in white adipose tissue and encoded by the OB gene or any naturally occurring or non-naturally occurring modified version thereof.
LEPTIN means r-metHuLeptin, the polypeptide having the amino acid sequence set forth in Exhibit A of this Agreement.
