The LEOC is located at the Lanxess Fire hall and is made operational whenever there is a significant emergency that may affect other Lanxess units, the general public or Member businesses.
The LEOC will serve as a point of contact between Participating Hospitals, state and local emergency management agencies, other governmental and non- governmental agencies as necessary.
Each Participating Hospital will provide and update relevant information during drills or disasters to the LEOC.
In the event of a medical disaster, hospitals should work together to share resources and coordinate responses until such time the local incident command system (ICS)/ Emergency Operations Center (LEOC) is operational.
