LAW AND VENUE. This CONTRACT has been ne gotiated and executed in the State of California and s hall be g overned by and c onstrued under the laws of the State of California. In the event of any legal action to enforce or interpret this CONTRACT, the sole and exclusive venue shall be a court of competent jurisdiction located in Orange COUNTY, California, and the PARTIES hereto agree to and do hereby submit to the jurisdiction of such court, notwithstanding Code of Civil Procedure Section 394.   • Governing Law This Agreement is governed by, and shall be construed in accordance with, English law.

  • rules of court means Rules of Court made under this Act and includes forms;

  • General relief means money payments and other forms of relief made to those persons mentioned

  • Action or Proceeding means any action, suit, proceeding, arbitration or investigation by or before any Governmental Authority.

  • Competent Court of Law means any court or tribunal or any similar judicial or quasi- judicial body in India that has jurisdiction to adjudicate upon issues relating to this Agreement;

  • Non-Cooperative Jurisdiction means any foreign country that has been designated as noncooperative with international anti-money laundering principles or procedures by an intergovernmental group or organization, such as the Financial Task Force on Money Laundering, of which the U.S. is a member and with which designation the U.S. representative to the group or organization continues to concur;

  • Terms of the citation means those conditions and options expressly stated upon the citation.

  • Canon Law means the Canon Law of the Catholic Church from time to time in force and if any question arises as to the interpretation of Canon Law, this shall be determined exclusively by the Diocesan Bishop;
