Launch Base definition

Launch Base means the Sea Launch marine launch platform from which the Launch will take place, as well as the Assembly and Command ship from which Launch operations will be directed and monitored.

  • Launch means the intentional ignition of the first-stage motor(s) of the Launch Vehicle intended to place or try to place a Launch Vehicle (which may or may not include any Transfer Vehicle, Payload or crew) from Earth:
