Laneways definition

Laneways means the shared access lanes (including but not limited to any landscaping, vegetation and improvements thereon) vested, maintained and/or managed by any Laneway Society from time to time.

  • Garage shall have the meaning ascribed to it in Recital H;

  • Perimeter means the fenced or walled area of the institution that restrains the movement of the inmates.

  • Areas means such areas within the DAS Areas that are identified in Annexure A annexed to this Agreement;

  • Streets means the surface of, and the space above and below, any and all streets, avenues, highways, boulevards, concourses, driveways, bridges, tunnels, parks, parkways, waterways, docks, bulkheads, wharves, piers, public grounds, and public places or waters within and belonging to the Franchising Authority and any other property within the Franchise Area to the extent to which there exist public easements or public rights-of-way.

  • Landscape waste means any vegetable or plant waste except garbage. The term includes trees, tree trimmings, branches, stumps, brush, weeds, leaves, grass, shrubbery, and yard trimmings.

  • Youth center means any public or private facility that is primarily used to host recreational or social activities for minors, including, but not limited to, private youth membership organizations or clubs, social service teenage club facilities, video arcades, or similar amusement park facilities.

  • Landscaped area means all the planting areas, turf areas, and water features in a landscape design plan subject to the Maximum Applied Water Allowance and Estimated Applied Water Use calculations. The landscaped area does not include footprints of buildings or structures, sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, decks, patios, gravel or stone walks, other pervious or non-pervious hardscapes, and other non-irrigated areas designated for non-development (e.g., open spaces and existing native vegetation).

  • Drainage means the removal of surface water or groundwater

  • Parks means the parks or green spaces named in the Application "Parties" means the Authority and the Licensee

  • Outbuilding means and refer to structures such as (by way of example and not limitation) storage buildings, sheds, greenhouses, gazebos and other Roofed Structures.

  • Park or "parking" when prohibited means the standing of a vehicle, whether occupied or not, except when standing temporarily for the purpose of and while actually engaged in loading or unloading merchandise or passengers;

  • Lobby means a covered space in which all the adjoining rooms open;
