Landlord’s Expenses definition

Landlord’s Expenses means the reasonable and proper costs (including any VAT charged on such costs to the extent that the Landlord is not able to obtain a credit for such VAT from HM Revenue & Customs) incurred or provided for by or on behalf of the Landlord in connection with all or any of the following items:
Landlord’s Expenses reasonable and proper solicitors’ counsels’ surveyors’ and other consultants’ and professional fees and costs bailiffs’ fees and management charges incurred by the Landlord
Landlord’s Expenses means subject to the provisions of the Sixth Schedule all reasonable costs expenses and other amounts properly paid or incurred or allowed by or on behalf of the Landlord whether directly or by way of contribution or reimbursement in connection with the provision of the Services set out in Part I of the Sixth Schedule or under the heads of expenditure charge or allowance set out in Part II of the Sixth Schedule together with: (a) a reasonable proportion of any amounts paid or incurred prior to the commencement of the Term (referable to the Term) but excluding any relating to the initial construction and development of the Landlord’s Premises and (b) a sum or sums of money by way of reasonable provision for anticipated expenditure in each case as the Landlord or the Landlord’s Surveyor (as the case may be) may reasonably allocate to the Relevant Financial Year as being fair and reasonable in the circumstances

Examples of Landlord’s Expenses in a sentence

  • The certificate will be prepared in accordance with accounts of the Landlord’s Expenses prepared by the Landlord’s accountants.

  • Preparation of estimate and on account payments Before or as soon as practicable after the start of each Service Charge Year, the Landlord will prepare and send the Tenant an estimate of the Landlord’s Expenses for that Service Charge Year and a statement of the estimated Service Charge for that Service Charge Year.

  • The relevant proportion of the Landlord’s Expenses attributable to all other parts of the Cinema (excluding the Property).

More Definitions of Landlord’s Expenses

Landlord’s Expenses means all costs, expenses and disbursements of every kind and nature whatsoever incurred by Landlord in connection with any performance by it for the account of Tenant, including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees, involved in collecting or endeavoring to collect the Rental or any part thereof not paid when due or enforcing or endeavoring to enforce any rights against Tenant, under or in connection with this Lease, or pursuant to Laws, including without limitation, any cost, reasonable expense and disbursement involved in re-entering the Premises, instituting and prosecuting summary proceedings, as well as bills for any property, material, labor, or services provided, furnished, or rendered, by Landlord or at its instance to Tenant (all of which expenses shall constitute items of Additional Rent) or any insurance policies or service contracts procured or maintained by Landlord to comply with Tenant’s obligations under this Lease.
Landlord’s Expenses has the meaning given in paragraph 2 of Schedule 1.
Landlord’s Expenses means the sum of (A) "Operating Expenses" as defined in Exhibit "A" annexed hereto plus (B) "Taxes" as hereinafter defined.

Landlord’s Expenses means subject to the provisions of Schedule 8 all costs, expenses, and other amounts paid, or incurred, or allowed, by or on behalf of the Landlord, whether directly, or by way of contribution or reimbursement in connection with the provision of the Services set out in Part A of Schedule 8, or under the heads of expenditure charge or allowance set out in Part B of Schedule 8 together with: (a) a reasonable proportion of any amounts paid or incurred prior to the commencement of the Term (to the extent referable to the Term) and (b) a sum or sums of money by way of reasonable provision for anticipated expenditure in each case, as the Landlord or the Landlord’s Surveyor (as the case may be) may reasonably allocate to the Relevant Financial Year as being fair and reasonable in the circumstances but excluding costs, expenses and other amounts recovered from any insurance policy (unless the relevant insurance policy shall have been vitiated by the act or default of the Tenant or any undertenant or their respective servants, agents, licensees or visitors) and excluding any Excluded Costs;
Landlord’s Expenses means the costs outgoings and other expenditure paid or incurred by or on behalf of the Landlord from time to time during the Term in connection with the Landlord’s Premises;
