LAeq definition
LAeq means the equivalent continuous A-weighted sound pressure level of the residual noise determined over a specified time interval.
LAeq means the average continuous noise level.
LAeq means an average sound level measured over a specified period.
More Definitions of LAeq
LAeq. T' means the equivalent continuous, A- weighted sound pressure determined over a time interval T(in dB).
LAeq means that steady noise level measured in A-weighted decibels referenced to 20 micro pascals which, when present for the same period of time as the actual noise, causes the same A-weighted noise energy to be received. The time interval is sometimes included in the abbreviation ie LAeqT (eg LAeq2 is a LAeq over 2 hours).
LAeq means the average A-weighted sound pressure level of a continuous steady sound that has the same mean square sound pressure as a sound level that varies with time.
LAeq means the equivalent sound level, in dB(A), of a steady sound which, over a specified period and at a specified position, would deliver the same noise energy as the intermittent or time-varying sound which actually occurs;
LAeq means equivalent continuous A-weighted sound pressure level and is the value of the A-
LAeq means the continuous equivalent sound level. A measure averaging noise exposure over a given period of time normally based on a 16 hours day time period
LAeq means the A-weighted equivalent continuous equal energy level (dBA)
