Key Set definition

Key Set means a set of two or more mathematically related keys, referred to as Private Keys or key shares along with a Public Key, wherein (i) the Public Key can encrypt a message which only the Private Key(s) can decrypt, and (ii) even knowing the Public Key, it is computationally infeasible to discover the Private Key(s). Customer will promptly inform DigiCert if it becomes aware of any misuse of a Certificate, Private Key, or the Portal. Customer is responsible for obtaining and maintaining any authorization or license necessary to order, use, and distribute a Certificate to end users and systems, including any license required under United Statesexport laws.
Key Set means a record file containing at least one Delegation Signer (DS) record according to RFC4034 intended for secure delegation of the Domain name by means of the Domain Name System Security Extension (DNSSEC) technology and at least one technical Contact;

Examples of Key Set in a sentence

  • Customer will promptly cease using the Key Set corresponding to a Certificate upon the earlier of (I) revocation of the Certificate, and (II) the date when the allowed usage period for the Key Set expires.

  • Effective immediately after delivery and continuing until the Certificate expires or is revoked, Customer may only use, for the benefit of the Certificate’s subject, each issued Certificate and corresponding Key Set for the purposes described in the CPS, in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, Industry Standards, and with the terms herein.
