Key Map definition

Key Map means a small-scale map that definitively shows the area proposed to be platted in relation to known geographical features (e. g. regional feature, community centers, lakes and streets).

  • LID best management practices (BMPs) – such as bioretention/rain gardens and permeable pavements – are also commonly known as green stormwater infrastructure, integrated management practices, and on-site stormwater management BMPs. If your Stormwater Management Site uses LID features to manage stormwater, they will be identified on the Key Map in this program.
