Joint facility definition

Joint facility means any owned or leased carrier operating property occu- pied or operated jointly by the carrier and one or more other carriers, under an arrangement whereby the cost and income are apportioned to the parties to the joint agreement. Portions of a structure or other property used exclu- sively by each of two or more carriers are not joint facilities.
Joint facility means all property necessary or useful for generating, purchasing, obtaining by exchange or otherwise acquiring, or transmitting electric power and energy, which is owned and operated pursuant to a joint agreement.
