Job Period definition

Job Period means every twelve (12) month period from the Approval Date through the Term of Agreement during which the Qualified Entity is obligated to create and maintain New Jobs.

Examples of Job Period in a sentence

  • For each new job created with an hourly rate at or in excess of $9.00 per hour, a credit shall be applied in an amount equal to the total wages paid during the Job Period.

  • Employment Opportunities - The Qualifying Entity shall create and thereafter maintain during each Job Period those jobs as defined in paragraph I(D)(1)(a), for the period defined in I(D)(1)(b).

  • Provided the City has determined that the Qualifying Entity has complied with the terms and conditions of this Agreement, the City shall annually apply a Credit against the funds disbursed based on the number of actual New Jobs created in the preceding Job Period.

  • The Qualifying Entity shall create and thereafter maintain during each Job Period at least twenty (20) Jobs with an hourly wage of at least nine ($9.00) dollars unless the Qualifying Entity “pays off” its obligation earlier by creating job in excess of the total required number as hereinafter described.

  • Employment Opportunities - TLC shall create and thereafter maintain during each Job Period those jobs as defined in paragraph I(D)(1)(a, b), for the period defined in I(D)(1)(c).

  • In the event the Qualifying Entity fails meet its annual creation/maintenance obligation for any Job Period, the Qualifying Entity shall receive a pro- rated credit.

  • The Qualifying Entity may receive Additional Credit for any New Job created or maintained during a Job Period in excess of its New Job creation/maintenance obligation under paragraph 3(b) for that particular Job Period.

  • By way of example, if in Job Period # 4 the Qualifying Entity only created and/or maintained 15 New Job Hours for which it paid a New Jobs Payroll of $280,000 the Qualifying Entity would receive an Annual Job Credit of $280,000.
