IVDU and IDU definition

IVDU and IDU mean Injecting Drug User or Intra-Venous Drug User. The acronyms may be used interchangeably to refer to a person who has used a needle one or more times to illicitly inject drugs.

  • Research Data means documents in a digital form, other than scientific publications, which are collected or produced in the course of scientific research activities and are used as evidence in the research process, or are commonly accepted in the research community as necessary to validate research findings and results;

  • Best available technology means those practices which most appropriately remove, treat, or isolate contaminants from groundwater, soil or associated environment, as determined through professional judgment considering actual equipment or techniques currently in use, published technical articles, site hydrogeology and research results, engineering and groundwater professional reference materials, consultation with experts in the field, capital and operating costs, and guidelines or rules of other regulatory agencies.

  • Public research university means Rutgers, The State University

  • mg means milligram.

  • Existing development means development, other than that associated with agricultural or forest management activities, that meets one of the following criteria:

  • POPIA means the Protection of Personal Information Act, No 4 of 2013;

  • Stopover means a scheduled stop on your journey, at a point between the place of departure and the place of destination.

  • Bioassay means the determination of kinds, quantities or concentrations and, in some cases, the locations of radioactive material in the human body, whether by direct measurement, in vivo counting, or by analysis and evaluation of materials excreted or removed from the human body. For purposes of these rules, “radiobioassay” is an equivalent term.

  • Development Area means that area to which a development plan is applicable.

  • Information Technology Resources means agency budgetary resources, personnel, equipment, facilities, or services that are primarily used in the management, operation, acquisition, disposition, and transformation, or other activity related to the lifecycle of information technology; acquisitions or interagency agreements that include information technology and the services or equipment provided by such acquisitions or interagency agreements; but does not include grants to third parties which establish or support information technology not operated directly by the Federal Government. These Biological Materials shall be listed on Exhibit A, which will be periodically amended to include any additional Biological Materials that Medical School may furnish to Company.

  • Embryo/fetus means the developing human organism from conception until the time of birth.
