Investment Asset definition

Investment Asset means the Franchise Assets designated as such pursuant to paragraph 2.2 of Schedule 14.4 (Designation of Franchise Assets);
Investment Asset means shares and securities in a corporation, a beneficial interest in a non-resident trust and an interest in land and buildings but does not include -
Investment Asset. Any Property, Loan or Other Permitted Investment Asset.

More Definitions of Investment Asset

Investment Asset means any asset of whatever nature that is held in respect of the technical provisions established in accordance with the Solvency II Directive (as transposed in the PRA Rulebook) in connection with the Business by the Transferor (or on its behalf by any member of the Transferor Group), or held to the order of, or by a nominee, custodian or third party for, the Transferor or any member of the Transferor Group, including any such asset managed pursuant to any of the Existing IMAs or any of the Investment Management Contracts;
Investment Asset means any debentures, notes or other evidence of Indebtedness, stock, securities (including rights to purchase and securities convertible into or exchangeable for other securities), interests in joint ventures and general and limited partnerships, mortgage loans and other investment or portfolio assets owned of record or beneficially by the Company.
Investment Asset. (i) a Commercial Real Estate Debt Investment, (ii) a Commercial Real Estate Ownership Investment, (iii) a Preferred Equity Investment, (iv) Qualified Levered SPV Capital Stock or Specified Levered SPV Capital Stock, (v) Specified Common Stock, (vi) a Specified Levered SPV Investment or (vii) any Portfolio of any of the foregoing, in each case to the extent owned by a Pledged Loan Party or any other Person in which a Loan Party, directly or indirectly, owns any Capital Stock. Subject to the limitations set forth in the definition of Maximum Permitted Outstanding Amount, the term Investment Asset shall also include any Investment Asset described in the foregoing clauses (i) through (vii) that is held by a Colony Fund in which an Affiliated Investor or a Pledged Loan Party holds a limited partnership interest, limited liability company membership interest or other similar interest in the nature of an equity investment.
Investment Asset means the asset (described in the Schedule to this deed) held on trust for the SMSF by the Custodian under this Deed provided that such asset is permitted to be so held without breach of the Superannuation Law and without the SMSF ceasing to be a complying SMSF under the Superannuation Law;
Investment Asset means a security, loan or other financial instrument in the Borrower’s investment portfolio.
