Interpreting Service definition

Interpreting Service means the live oral translation service by the Interpreter to the Client via the Translin Platform.
Interpreting Service means a person who provides interpretation or translation services to facilitate communication between a deaf or hard-of-hearing person and a hearing person.
Interpreting Service means Premier Access’ contracted vendor which provides phone and face-to-face language interpreting service.

  • Interpreting means the process of translating communication between hearing individuals, who communicate in spoken language, and individuals who communicate in sign language. Interpreters must be able to listen to an individual’s words, inflections, and intent and simultaneously render them into sign language using the mode of communication preferred by the Customer. The Interpreter must also be able to comprehend the signs, inflections, and intent of the Customer and speak them in articulate, appropriate English.

  • Testing service means a national testing service selected by the board.
